Racquel is a multi-faceted creative making waves in the academia, athletics, and the entertainment industry. Racquel is a UC Berkeley Double Bear! She earned her Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics along with a BA in Psychology with a Minor in Global Public Health. Conducting data analysis and manuscript drafting for published research through labs at UCSF and UC Berkeley. Her master's research thesis looked at "Prenatal and Lactational Cannabis Use Impacts on Developmental Psychopatholgy in the ABCD study". Racquel is now in the process of applying to medical school where she hopes to become a licenced clinician and also contribute positively to clinical research and development for rare and ultra-rare diseases in the biopharma space.

 

A sought-after speaker and advocate, she has addressed Fortune 500 companies and State Legistlature, starting at the age of 16, such as Microsoft, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, and the CA Dept. of Education, championing social justice and equity. Beyond academia and social justice, she has a captivating on-screen presence and striking runway appeal, she has starred in national TV commercials, featured in a Kevin Lange YouTube production, and walked for renowned designers like Stella Li. A former Miss Teen Oakland, Racquel’s grace and charisma set her apart in both acting and modeling. Her passion for performance began early—training in theater and on-screen acting since the age of 12, honing her craft and versatility in front of the camera. As a talented photographer, Racquel has had three shoots published in two issues of Diaspora magazine. Impressively, her debut shoot was featured on the cover, highlighting her exceptional eye for detail and storytelling. 

 

Adding to her dynamic edge, Racquel is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo Brown Belt, embodying strength, discipline, and resilience in all aspects of her work. Winning gold in regional, state, and national titles, she continues to be a mentor and role model for young girls. Poised for the next big opportunity, Racquel is ready to bring her talent, intellect, and presence to new projects.
